TARDIS BigBang Fic: Voiceless
Jun. 25th, 2009 02:36 pmTARDIS BigBang went live yesterday. Yay! Lots of great stories and art there. I'm proud to have a fic of mine amongst them. Here's the link to it, and the related artwork:
Voiceless, by Veldeia
The fic is about 22 000 words, gen, PG. The summary says,
"What if that thing took his voice with it? What if whatever it did was permanent?" An AU that branches off from Midnight (New Who, Series 4).
So, it features the Doctor, Donna, characters from Midnight, and a few OCs.
(Let it be said that I consider this my least favourite Whofic out of the things I've written so far. It's too generic, and sort-of pointless, to everyone but the few nutters (like me) who think Midnight could've used even more angst and hurt/comfort. Of course, my opinion may have something to do with the fact that three out of four betas mysteriously disappeared without ever giving me a word of explanation, which convinced me that the fic is a hopeless case. Since I'm an eternal optimist with tons of self-confidence.)
